so at the break i started and i only do unity on the break period only.
but then one day one senior unity developer saw and said "Don't you have any work or something that you are learning?".
And he complained to my head and now i am banned from learning unity.
i learn at the office since I don't get time at my home due to travelling and all. so that's why i used to learn at the office for just 30-40 min.
but they have problems with this now nicccee

I cracked an internship 7months ago and currently working as part-time employee as frontend developer in that company.
I want to get into fullstack or backend but can't leave a company because they are paying well and their backend stack way different + they are in need of frontend developer.

I'm at the early stage of my career & I believe I should to explore, but I think no company will pay me well as this does, so I prioritize money or explore backend? would like know your views on this. thanks

Kinda stuck at 1 place!!

I am currently working at a product based startup as a full stack developer (Spring Boot + React Native). The product is pretty big and there are only 2 developers (A react native developer and me).
It's my first job. I have been working as a full time employee for 1 year and 3 months, and was a part time backend developer intern at the same company for 8 months.
I have to work for 6 days a week (9 hrs / day including breaks) and now they are asking me to do overtime without any added advantages.
I am working on 4 different projects in parallel (The main product (React Native), Internal App (React Native), REST API Backend (Spring Boot) and The main website (React JS) and a new website is in discussion for internal purposes) and also handling Docker containers and AWS deployment.
I am getting paid INR 3LPA
Is this normal?  I am getting a feeling that I am under paid too.
 I do have 3 backlogs to clear (BTech CS). Should I look for a new job or stay at the same company?

Recently joined a company.We majorly work in c and c++ . It has been a few months since I joined the company but it feels like I haven't really learnt anything new nor am I contributing majorly in any way . In this time span I have rarely coded and it feels like it is affecting my career deeply, especially being a fresher in this domain.I want to know the possible ways to tackle this situation and what else that you guys recommend.

Just an hour ago I had a talk with someone I got to knew through my neighbour. He is a backend engineer by profession and experienced in the field. So I contacted him as I was looking for any job/internship and if he could refer me in any company through his networking. He asked what I was currently learning so I told him I am doing Full-Stack. I did 3 months internship in frontend and was going for backend so I could become a full-fledged developer. He told me not to do that instead pick either frontend or backend and go for it. He advised that big companies usually don't hire full-stack developers instead hire these roles separately so I should just focus on the domain I am good at.

My placements are very close and I am learning as much as I can full-time so what should I do? I am already anxious whether I will get placed or not due to current market situation and advice like this makes me doubt whether I am going correctly or just wasting my time and efforts.

So; can anyone tell me what should I do? Should I do full-stack or go with either frontend or backend?

Should I just focus in one field?

I was looking for job for 1.5 years, I studied and learnt a lot. Now I got a job and noticed that I am not getting opportunity to learn or study anything new.
My profile is TS based Node. Js. While taking my interview, they asked everything in backend docker etc and somehow I cleared given that I did not knew much. While joining I was glad that since this job will require all these things, I will get to learn it from other folks given that how I am weak in these things.
But now after joining there, all the pomp is gone. Docker image was setup once and now all we are asked is to clone a reponand write(read copy) some lambda function from already written repo by senior and it is too much to write and time consuming. 
I am not getting time and opportunity to learn and honestly even udemy or YouTube tutorial is not enough to learn what real work in company teaches.

Can you folks please help????

Unable to learn and self study after getting job

I work in one of Big 4 companies as a front-end developer. I am currently learning the backend as my project doesn't have any FE work. There are lots of politics now in my team as compared to the previous year, i was denied a well-deserved promotion for some weird reasons, and the hike was low too. Decided to do bare minimum work now and focus on studying for switch.

Could anyone please help on how to get started on preparation for DSA and what other things to focus on to secure a product based company?
