- He was the Chairman-Emeritus of **Tata Sons** and Chairperson of **Tata Trusts**.
- Tata ran Tata Sons for over 20 years, credited with expanding and diversifying the company.
- He was also involved in the running of Tata Trusts, a philanthropic organisation run by the group.
- Tata founded **Tata Teleservices** in 1996 and took **Tata Consultancy Services** public in 2004.

- Aanvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old Indian social media content creator, died after falling into a 300-foot gorge while shooting Instagram videos at Kumbhe waterfall.
- Kamdar was with seven friends when she slipped on the slippery rocks and fell into the valley, making it difficult for rescuers to spot her initially.
- The rescue operation took about six hours due to steady rainfall and challenging terrain, with large stones falling around the team during the extraction.
- Kamdar was taken to Mangaon Taluka Government Hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
- Known for her travel videos, Kamdar had over 278,000 Instagram followers and often focused on 'monsoon tourism.' Her death has sparked cautionary messages about the risks of creating viral content.

Today, I feel sad. We truly lost somebody who exemplified doing 'good' along with doing 'business'.

I'd recently read the book ‘The Story of Tata’ and had learnt the good they have done, which is always difficult when you're a capitalist. But Tata truly is built different, and Ratan Tata took the torch so far ahead.

I started out career at TCS like many here, so that’s the most obvious way I was benefitted from what they have made. It was a start, and a start is what one often needs.

But beyond it: there are many things

1. He took Tata from $6Bn in revenue to $100Bn in revenue under his reign

2. ⁠Acquired brands like Tetley, JLR which are honestly a big deal for an Indian company 

3. ⁠Nano, which failed, was one of his noble pet projects. It showed his thought process.

4. ⁠Support to startups: literally every founder is putting up stories of their interactions with him, how ever present was he

All while donating 60% of profits to social causes via Tata Trusts (that’s a function of his ancestors and how they set the company)

We’ve lost a legend. We’ve lost an example in positive business building.

I hope we remember and learn from Ratan Tata for long. ♥️

Absolutely echo what you have written 
 It was his calling to be an industrialist and billionaire (because of his family). But so many of his choices reflected a noble intent. 
  
 And that’s all it takes. Ambani Adani etc will never see the love we’re seeing outpouring for Tata. 
  
 And I hope that becomes an example for more business leaders.

I feel my life is extremely difficult after demise of my beloved father at the age he should have  not left us this early he was 51 and now without him my life is just extremely difficult in all aspects  , people around me , relatives , career aspect marriage aspect future everything just scares me and  i feel i cannot reach out to anyone for my help not even my mother with my problems I feel if i reach out to anyone they just shut it like dont overthink , please stop with your negativity I just dont know how to get on with life He was like shield to us Now i dont know even me , my mom , my sibling has changed like anything Nothing feels good anymore

An investigation has started into a robot 'suicide.' The robot was seen idle at the bottom of some stairs, and later, witnesses saw it spinning on top of a building before falling off.

The robot worked in a government office from 9 AM to 6 PM without breaks. The company that designed it is analyzing its parts to understand what happened.

I have been living with my parents and recently lost my father and suddenly felt like I have lost the protective shield. I was very much dependent on my father for all the people dealing that I never realised people are so self centred and emotion less. Everyone is thinking about themselves including so called near and dear ones. I don't get whom to trust and whom not to.  Worst part is I never felt he was so important in my life when he was alive and now that he has gone I can't do anything to bring him back. 
Missing my dad so much.
