I want to know on what basis are you guys shorting your candidates for college summer interns, because I see the most random person getting selected and leaving out the good ones
Also it's a no hope game for me, mine cgpa is less than 7

I am a student who is going to start applying for jobs and placements. I wanted advice on how to design my CV/Resume. Any tips on the format/ template and what are the do’s and don’ts? Thanks!

Heyy folks, 
I am a semi qualified chartered accountant and currently in search of job. It has been observed during various job applications submitted that the resume is not getting shortlisted by the employers. 
I have working experience in mid size CA firms and also worked as a freelancer performing taxation functions. Currently, I want to have exposure of big corporate houses where I can learn more and perform well further.
While applying, it has been observed that I have to face rejection. I am not getting a clear idea about how to modify or make changes in my resume and LinkedIn profile so that employers become eager to know more about my work exposure.
There is a well known saying that don't judge a book by it's cover but while looking for job opportunities, it has been observed that while buying a book, the first of all it's a cover of book which attracts the perspective customer to pick the book and look into it.
I want to know that what a HR basically looks for in a job application of interested candidates.
I also want to redesign my cover in order to increase chances of getting selected.
 It will be a great privilege to get positive response and guidance from the experts.

I completed CA articleship in a very small firm . The only work i did was basic accounting in tally, itr filing of individuals, gst returns of shops while my friends were busy doing audits of huge clients. I'm now attempting ca final group 1  4th time . I don't know how i can get a job. What can a student like me do ?

If not then why? And what should one must do to get the job at big 4?

I have recently visited a tier 3 engineering college & am amazed/rather confused to see that on one side we have students working on startup ideas, while on the other side, some students are still struggling to create a CV. I just wanted to check with this community: Are there any best websites, like zety, yourcoc.com, or anything else, that can help in creating a good CV? Or what would you suggest?

How to create a good CV?

I was laid off on 7th Sep and my garden leave was till 29th Sep. I got average severance package and I was in panic situation for almost 2 weeks. 

I gave interviews for 12 targeted position (luckily got till last rounds for all positions and got total 5 offers.
2 offers felt like being exploited, employers were milking my layoff situation and offered 10%-15%. I took a call to reject them and explore further.
Got 3 offers in first week of Jan, these were worth considering.
Yes I did wait for 4 months to see such favourable offers.
One with 15% hile and relocation, second with 60k Euro and move to Europe and third offer with 100% hike with remote.
It was a no brainer and I closed on the one with Remote and 100% hike.

Dont just rush to close on anything which comes first, assess the future and close on the decent or best one according to ur needs. 

For those who were laid-off recently and looking for opportunities I would say keep faith market is opening and positions are getting listed.
You will get something good soon.

I desperately disappointed hunting jobs from last one year although I have one year experience in java  receiving rejected mails !
Any one suggest to make best resume which passes ATS test !

I've been applying for Senior Product Manager jobs and have got experience of 6 years as a developer once and as Product Manager in B2B and B2C sectors. 
I always get automated responses from companies. I'm starting to wonder if that's because of low ATS scores or something else which is wrong with the Resume.
