I've always dreamed of moving to the USA, but I'm unsure of how to make that a reality. However, the process seems daunting, especially with all the stories I've heard about how challenging it can be to get a visa, with many applications being rejected. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights on how to navigate this process or make this dream a reality.

I'm planning to move to the USA through a consultancy. 

I have applied for a visa and it got picked up a few months back.

Now I'm in the process of visa interview.

I make 20 LPA in India. Is it a good idea to leave this job and move to USA to get a better job?

I am a 6.5 year of experience backend engineer currently employed with a US based company that doesn't send people to usa on L1 as far as I know. But I have to go to USA because my fiancee is moving abroad for her studies. I have a decent salary here. Hence, I don't see the need for further studies for myself for career growth. Nevertheless, I have applied to a few colleges there. But I also want to know if there is any way to move to USA through my job as I would really not want to break up due to long distance. Please guide me if you can

I am 31 M and am married with no kids as of yet. 

I have been to the US for my master's and also did a job there for some time. I came back to India in 2020 due to visa issues. 

Ever since then I have been thinking of going out of India, maybe to Canada (or nowadays Nordic countries are also accepting immigrants). But I am confused and unsure of what to do. 

I feel stuck here at my current job and feel like I haven't grown much. There are a lot of opportunities in other countries and the biggest motivation is lifestyle upgradation.

On the other hand, going to other countries would also mean a lot of struggle at this stage of my life, which I did the first time around when I went to the US. Plus there is this war situation happening in multiple countries. No one knows what will happen of that.

One more factor is - India is also doing fairly well and is seen as having the maximum growth potential in the next 5-10 years

What do you suggest? What are the points that I should consider? 

Also if I were to try to move out, which countries would you recommend I look at? What are the benefits?

Been trying to start for a long time, but I guess India is much more interested in Pedigree, the action product.

My last project, Omniplex was just acquired and I got a job in the company. The company has started by ex-Google and ex-Microsoft employees. 

They are based in San Francisco and they are inviting me to work in San Francisco directly. There will also help me get the Green card and all immigration documents.

What should I do? ￼

Guys so a little background. I am currently 22. Single child. And I am doing a job in Bangalore. I recently got my greencard for USA along with my parents. This presents me with an amazing opportunity to create a life in the USA. But one thing that keeps bothering me is that my parents would have to live here alone. They are around 50. 

My dad suggests that I try for sometime in the USA and if I am happy I can continue, otherwise I can come back. But lets say I try for 5 years. I will be 27. Wouldn't it be too late to come back to India as I would have created a life in USA already and would be most probably be ready for marriage at that time and that demands a bit of stability.

Please give your advice. It would help a lot.

I'm currently working as a software engineer in India, with TC 45LPA and 2 years of experience. I'm thinking about applying for a Master's in CS in the USA for fall 2024. But I'm not sure if I want to settle there or not currently. Should I make the move considering things are going well in India? Getting a job directly in the US seems close to impossible. Any advice? Bit of a rant and a solution. I have worked for close to 18 years now lived in various part of country like Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and off course Bangalore. Additionally lived in eu for 5+ years. I feel post return to India I see the population has in general become more uncivil and rowdy. With useless apps like Swiggy/zomato/ blink it there is a splurge of stupid drivers on street. Similar is situation with Uber/ola etc with them the density of village folks with no road sense have increased tremendously. They drive badly and threaten common folks at the blink of an eye even though they are probably driving on wrong side of the road. 

I feel common folks should be given gun license so we can protect ourselves as we have no other way left to save our family and kids from these animals

So my sibling is about to graduate with a degree in Computer Science from a T2 college in a few months and wants to now do MS in the US because of three reasons: 

1. Low levels of violence against women(Sexual Assault) [IMPORTANT!!]
2. Want to do innovative work in the US instead of working on copycat products in India
3. Ambition of living in the US long term because of free-er culture

But my parents have flat out refused to fund the education or even help her with a loan due to regressive mentality (nahi jaana baahar, 2-3 saal kaam karo aur shaadi karo chup chaap)

She has accepted a job offer for now and will make 14L/year. What are her options? Should she drop the idea of MS abroad?

What to do if your parents refused to fund your education(MS/MBA) abroad?

Two options -  
  
 1. As I read, she will making 14L, save aggressively and self fund herself to MS. Places like UoCincinati or Texas univs aren’t that costly. She might able to score a diversity scholarship/waiver as well. 
  
 2. Start looking for Germany based unis. They have minimal uni fee, she just need to maintain the living expenses.  
  
 My 2 cents - Working for 2-3 years before MS will bring more clarity and increase the RoI of investments.

The job market is fucked all around now, but assuming there will be interest rate cuts in 3-4 years (optimistic), how willing would companies in these countries be to sponsor someone from India? During the boom in 2021 a lot of people from my shitty tier 3 college managed to get sponsored at Big Tech in De, Ireland and Lu. 
What can I start doing now to increase my chances of finding a company that can sponsor me after I gain experience? 
Is it a pipe dream considering Indians are now flooding even these countries to get meaningless master degrees to immigrate (which I am somewhat open to too)? My ultimate goal is getting citizenship in one of these countries, preferably EU. 
I’m not really interested in central and Eastern European countries because I don’t align with their beliefs and their languages are too hard.

Off late I have been contemplating moving out of India given the work culture, pathetic pay scales, bad governance etc.

Which is the best route to do so? Should I check with immigration consultants? I saw that Aus, Canada have skilled worker shortage. Will that help my case?
