What are some lessons you have learnt after all your years in the industry?
All the things that can only be learnt from experience and you would not necessarily find in books anywhere... also, what you had not expected would be so important when you were initially starting out ✍🏻

Always be open to new opportunities, even if you've recently joined a new company, be it just a week or a month ago. Never miss an opportunity.
My friend joined a service company in February, then in March, he received an offer from one of his dream product companies. However, he declined the offer as he didn't want to raise a red flag on his resume by changing jobs within a month. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when he was laid off in May.
Good point and damn, that must still sting him whenever he thinks about it... is he at one of his dream companies now?
