It was pre jio era in early 2015 when i accidentally deleted 200 GB's of Study material. 
 I was sad . 
 I was in depression.  
 But at the end my friends help me with all the backup they have😤

3 yrs back , I lost my Maa to cancer.  
 That phase of 1 yr from start till it ended, only God knows how it passed. At one point things became so unbearable, I begged God to end everything.  
  
 Stress and depression took a toll on me. I have anxiety issues, nerve issue and gastrointestinal issues. 
  
 Post that episode, things never became normal . I seem normal to people, but it always feels like part of me is ripped off emotionally and mentally

I have been working in HSBC GSC HYD for more than a year and as this journey comes to an end now, I would like to share my experience with you all. 
The first thing that comes in our mind while joining any new company is about their workplace environment and their HR policies. 

There have been quite a few incidents that happened during the last one year which I neglected thinking "Isn't this what corporate life feels like?" I neglected everything to the point where it became unbearable for me and made me go through some serious mental health issues and panic attacks. 

The most recent incident that I would like to share with you all is when I was ethnically humiliated by one of my colleague.

The incident happened on 22 April 2024 when I was subjected to ethnically insensitive remarks by my colleague AA. The exacts words which was used by him is 'EK CHAMAAT MAARENGE, BIHAR PAHUCH JAOGI' which exactly means - I will slap you so hard, you will go back to Bihar. 

I did follow the protocol and informed my manager AT about the whole incident but nothing came out of it, except for a team meeting where I was told that my colleague did not physically assault me, it was just a hatred comment which I can let go of. 

I reached out to the concerned HR team and filed a POSH Complaint for the same, after weeks of the incident, on 3 May, I received an email from the HR team to give feedback for the same without any updates on what action was taken. 

I did let go of everything thinking that anyways I will be leaving the office soon as I am currently in my notice period when another incident happened. 

I was on a smoke break when VKR, AMO from the UK CDD team approached me and made objectifying remarks on me. The comment he made was 'Tmhare jaisi ladki hum aaj tk ni dekhe hai, akele pura UK team ka naam kharab kr k rkhi hai.' which means - He has never seen a girl like me, I have ruined the name of their team. I did ask him the reason for saying such things to which he replied 'tmhare alawa kisi UK team ki ladki ko hm ni dkhe hai cigarette pite huye' which means - he has never seen any girl from the UK team smoking cigarettes. Later while going back inside the office, I saw him eating tobacco and spitting on the wall inside the office premises. 

My LWD is 13 June 2024 and I hope this post reaches to everyone who are currently working in HSBC and to the people who are planning on joining HSBC GSC HYD before I leave.

It's been 4 years since covid started and all of us went into the first lockdown (24 March 2020). I just thought of this while making another post, and this has actually taken me aback. It was such a crazy time, and now it's just long gone. 

- We got a lot of time to be home, to be around loved ones, most of us are privileged and hence Covid wasn't bad at all. We were mostly making Dalgona Coffee, sourdough bread, playing PUBG, watching movies, etc. 

- A lot of us also lost loved ones. It was really brutal for those who did. And it was always scary for the rest of us. 

- Most of us who have been in tech saw our salaries climb the fastest. The absolute peak job market, best hikes, the world was very positive in that sense - not as much work and enough pay to enjoy 

- The biggest thing I've noticed: Covid got me hooked to Instagram/YT Shorts/and other social media. I feel like I used to be more aware and awake before covid. Somehow, a lot of exposure to social media/content etc. has made me just very zoned out in life. I think a lot of us have a much shorter attention span. 

IDK if this is true, but certainly feels like it is true. 

Just penning this down because I'm genuinely tripping how long it's been.

4 years since Covid started. What are your memories from that time? How have you evolved since?

I'm 21 m. Had a 9 months old relationship with a girl who's 6 months older. It was the best 9 months of my life. We connected on so many levels that I never thought would happen with me at such a young age. 

Recently, she broke up with me. It was not our mistake. Her mother isn't well (from a long time, and I knew that) and her last wish is to see her daughter getting married. 

Forcefully, she had to admit this and told me everything. And told me that we need to end this. 

It's been 3 weeks, and there's minimal contact between us. 

I'm a final year college student, not getting placements, too much pressure from family. I can't think about anything. Feels like all of this is eating me up. We had very secure future plans, but everything is over now. I don't know what to do. 

I try very hard to stay on track, but her thoughts are eating me up. I've started meditation, therapy and everything, but nothing is working the way I thought it would do. 

She was the one that gave me assurance that everything will be fine. Her presence was the most peaceful thing I had, but now, there's nothing. 

Help me, please. 

PS: please don't judge me the way I am. I'm trying to be normal as much as possible but nothing's working.

Need urgent help.

Depression is one of the worst health condition to happen to any individual. My heart goes out to the people going through it. We can never imagine what the depressed person might be going through. The least we can do is empathise and help in whichever way we can without any judgement in the first place. 

In a world where you can be anything, be kind. ❤️

This is so heartbreaking! 💔

One week ago, everything was going well in my life. I had a good job, my mum was happy, Papa proudly told everyone, my son is a software engineer, there was no tension for my younger brother's education, we were thinking of buying all the things this diwali like for mum ,gold,for dad, bike.3 days before, my manager asked me for resignation and gives me poor ratings because management told him to do that. Since that day, my deep happiness has disappeared. Mummy is sad, papa is sad, I am not even feeling good. Today I went to the bank to take a loan for my brother's education. When I came to talk he rejected me.
I reached the station and was filled with sorrow. I kept writing this post. If I ever come back to my life, I will remember this time when I look at this post. And if everything has gone wrong, then I will accept my fate.
