Atleast not in the form it is now. Found a rare good post on LinkedIn via Twitter which lists the reason why i think so. Also, I was reading psychology of money and one of the chapters discussed how GE used to be the most valued company in 2000s and how within 20 years, everything went to manhole.

Google is seriously going through a leadership crisis. I hate Pichai from the gut. We Indians like him coz he's brown munda, but I have never seen such narrow minded CEO since Balmer.

Dual Income and No Kids sounds very attractive but advice from people in their late 20s and 30s is probably too biased to be considered sound advice.

Wanted to understand how couples who took that decision in their 30s feel today.

Do you regret it?
Do you feel purposeless?
Do you feel lonely?
Do you feel the FOMO?

And so on.

Any DINK couples in their 40s? How do you really feel?

Not another AI fear mongering post. Since i don't know many people in the software industry in the  60s or even in the early 50s.

 10 years down the line probably the first crop of software engineers will retire, but since demand for coolie is on the higher side and they are mostly freshers or 5-6 year old experienced people.  A company may require 10 coolie but only 1 experienced dev is required which means we may see a lot more seniors. 

I know many people just switch to management or start doing something else but considering we are part of the software engineering boom we may see a lot more competition at the top. 

How are you planning to deal with it? Or is that even a threat in the first place.

Crypto was promised to be the bane of fiat currency, evil central banks and centralised control over financial transactions. The more I understand it, the more it seems technically feasible and very much possible but practically difficult due to opposing forces.

The globally coordinated push for CBDCs (central banking digital currency) by central banks, government regulations on decentralised currencies as well as the loss of trust of investors and public in crypto seems to have put power right back into the hands of the already too powerful.

Will we ever see a world where currency isn't controlled by the powerful central banks and governments? Is it possible for decentralised currency to make a comeback at all?
