Why are there so many Nepalese in Bengaluru?
Noticed them in housekeeping, hospitality, plumbing, electrician roles, even in startups. Nepali families as caretakers in posh houses or Airbnb. At a co-working office in HSR, I hear them discussing getting Aadhar cards and settling permanently. Not discriminating or being racist, just curious about the trend.

There are many Bangladeshis too. Many have been provided voter IDs (easy votes), given "Indian" tag and now working across India.
It's easier for neighbouring countries to settle in India, because the language barrier is low

Yep, that's why I said labour. Usually, the people who are ready to do day care odd jobs. Qualified people are in search of corporate jobs, you know, better salaries.

Cheap labor, in a similar example : In Dubai 2-3 yrs earlier the housekeepers etc used to Indians/Bangladeshis etc, now they are starting to get replaced by Filipinos.

Does Dubai have a high number of labours illegally immigrated? With my observation here in Bengaluru, it feels most of them are illegally immigrated. I literally heard them talking about Aadhar cards.
They are illegal immigrants. They come from Nepal and Bangladesh. We should add them to our population stats as they can easily cross the border and our kind politicians give them aadhaar/PAN/Voter Id for free votes.
Nepalese in Bengaluru? It's simple - they're chasing dreams, just like us. They see opportunities, they grab them. Isn't that the Indian dream too?

Going through the answer, I feel is a racist trying not to be one. What is the problem with you for Indians and india being open to neighbouring countries and helping each other?
Either you had some personal fuss over them or maybe you are small. There is already a legal policy in India for giving aadhar to Nepalese, don't it. Do you even know about EU countries having open trade/labor relations is the same as India, Nepal, Bangladesh?
Receiving close to equal freedom by them is what the country has made such relationships for. Except for Voting. That's one thing I can't agree with unless they are planning to live permanently.

When did I express opposition to people coming to India? My concern lies with potential illegal immigration. While there is a legal procedure for Nepalese & Bhutanese to obtain Aadhar cards, not all may adhere to it. Are you certain every Nepali in India follows the legal process?
EU countries open trade, but do they accept all who wish to go? 'Come one, come all?'Aao jao ghar tumhara?
Eligible and credible individuals should have opportunities, with local priorities considered.

We should not ignore this as well. If we keep always blaming the system or politicians, then there will be one day it will hit all of us (Indians). There are loopholes in the system that I agree with, that doesn't mean it's not their fault if they take disadvantage of it. Both of them have to be blamed.
How do to know they are Nepalese?? They can be from north east Indian states too

I've had firsthand experiences with this. During my stays in 3-4 Airbnb accommodations in HSR, I noticed a common thread: the caretakers were all from Nepal and lived in the same apartment with the family, often in a small room.
Similarly, when I encountered an issue with the motor in my rented flat, the plumber who came to fix it was also from Nepal.
Even in the co-working office I frequent, I've observed a similar pattern, with many of the people I interact with from other companies also being of Nepali origin.
