Work vs Life?
Here you have two scenarios. Which one would you choose? 1) You're into software and doing good, and earning well.. like around 50-60 maybe or even more down the line like 80. You have a family and are giving them proper time. But you do not have that much power in the company since you're just a developer or lead or architect. 2) You did your mba and became a consultant or something in finance and down the line even one of the top roles in a company. Earning in Cr, but not able to give proper time to family and festivals. But your family will be proud of the status you have in professional life and will give that respect. Not just family but even outsiders.

I would choose this scenario 2 , but only for a certain age like 35-40. Initially, the high-paying finance role and the respect it brings could be fulfilling, especially when leveraging it to build a strong professional network. However, I’d likely shift to something more stable and relaxing later on.
Scenario one should be chosen but often people chose 2 only to regret later. Tell me why do people earn and what is the ultimate goal of financial stability if you are always living in tomorrow. Recently orgs fired all top executives though it can happen to anyone but your professional respect goes in jiffy once the org take hard call. Don't just live under professional umbrella
I have absolutely 0 requirement of spending time with people. Give me 2 hours to gym and 8 hours of sleep and I can work rest of the day easy.
I would choose option 1.
Also, try switching to tier 1 companies; there, as a Software Engineer, you can earn in cr.
ADDITIONALLY***
People who are already living one of these scenarios, would you switch to the other? If yes, why?
