Youtube Influencer eval: (Beyond subscriber count) 1) Usually the mid tier influencers will commit to a "views" number. You wouldn't want to pay more than 1 rupee for a view. (Could vary for a niche TG influencer-still don't go beyond 2.5) 3) If they won't commit, just take the avg view count of their last 10-15 videos and see if the CPV is under control as per the cost quoted to you. 4) Their YT analytics will give the demo and geo penetration, ask for that. Make sure that aligns with your TG & market prioritisation 5) Ask for the retention rate of an avg video of the influencer. Usually there is a massive drop after Q2. Plan your integration accordingly. For IG, check for avg engagement rates as well. If influencer marketing works for your brand and it would be a recurring investment, better to get an agency involved.

Always negotiate to 60% of what they quote, if it feels high That’s been my experience dealing with most people on LinkedIn/IG Talk to at least 10-15 influencers over time to know good benchmarks

2 influencers with similar subs, but one with 0.5x avg views is asking for 2x more money. 🤯
