Do not attach your work to your self worth. You are worthy of many things even if you don't have a dream job. Don't limit yourself or judge yourself this early in your career. Have patience and give it time. You'll be alright.

I had one interview today for product operations analyst role. During the interview I talked about how interested I am in product domain and have refined my data skills from past few months. Then basically the guy said this is more of a collaborative role rather than analytics role. I said that's not a problem for me. I have experience working with various teams. But I guess he had already made up his mind to reject me. Didn't even let me finish my last question that I was about to ask him. He signed off by saying let's see if you are selected or not. Absolutely heart broken. Cried a little. It's been more than 7 months.

I know it’s hard to digest every time the rejection mail but chin up! as there might be some good opportunity knocking at your door very soon.

Don't give up. Giving up is for losers. You might be broken inside but won't be long before it's all put back together! Best wishes mate.

I was laid off last year despite being highest rated employee in my team, still I was getting 50% less than avg of my team members at my level which I got to know after layoff. This was heartbreaking. I made it to 10 companies final round, but I didn't get offer from any of these companies. It used to significantly impact my self worth and my belief in my own abilities. I got an offer from another company. In the hindsight I realised why it happened that way, without layoff I wouldn't have left wfh. I was looking for remote opportunities, but I needed to shift from home and do therapy to resolve depression and anxiety. The companies that didn't work out had layoffs in the upcoming quarters. This made me trust in the universe and the creation itself. What I wanted I didn't get, but what I needed at that point of time and would have helped me in this journey of life, I was given. What I wanted may not have been the best for me. Everything is moving for you for your own growth. Believe in universe and surrender yourself to it. Let go of control how you want it to unfold and keep going. Do meditation, gym, therapy if possible or share with your friends or journal, have a trip or anything that makes you happy and keep going. Note down your thoughts. There is a framework in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to evaluate the thoughts. Situation| Thought | Emotions | Evidence for it | Evidence against it. You can do this exercise. The success metric for everyday can be different. We all are on our own journey. So, enjoy the journey. Change your perspective and thoughts and it will help you navigate better.

Yes it's a bit of a knockdown, but a similar thing happened to me twice recently. And i always hope that there are infinite companies and a great team is waiting for my arrival ☺️ Try shifting the location once and it will make a big change for sure....

It is really difficult times. Pray you have the courage to endure. Remember that in difficult times, we get to know so much about us and people around us. Also, remember that in hind sight, all of this struggle looks bearable and would bring smile on your face.

I know! It’s so relatable! And for me, being a girl, even more difficult. My mother told me a few days back “If you do not get a job within the next 2 months, we’re getting you married. I feel like running away or dying I’m stuck 😭😭😭

Only the one going through it truly understands the pain. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling right now. But I would like to say that if things go your way, it's good, and if they don't, it's even better because destiny has something greater planned for you. Trust the process. In the meantime, consider focusing on yourself—use this time to prepare for upcoming interviews, enroll in short-term online certification courses relevant to your field, and sharpen your skills. These steps will not only keep you productive but also better equip you for the opportunities that lie ahead. Best of luck ✌🏽

That happens to me. I prayed GOD give me this job, that job. But all companies rejected me which I wanted to work even after performing good in interview. But unexpectedly GOD give me better than best job. Trust in God, keep fighting. Defently you will get job

I wake up with matrimonial rejections these days.

Hey buddy. I've not been in a salaried job for around a year now. I lost out on 5 offers in the last round of interviews, barely getting one/two calls a month. Unfortunately, the market being the way it is, there is no go but to keep trying hoping for a door to open. The important thing is to realise that this is not a reflection of your skills or value or anything like that, but a demand vs supply issue. Make sure you keep yourself occupied. Start a new hobby. Workout. Take therapy sessions if you feel too overwhelmed. And remember, this too shall pass. We will make it :)

Idk how it sounds but me tell u this. Find a good startup and get into that. Start working there, I would say it's a golden opportunity to learn things better than many mnc's. Get couple of years experience and then change company...tadaa u see the opportunities coming to u unknowingly 😅

Keep trying in better ways. Make sure that you are trying out all the right methods(job portals(updating regularly with the right formatted resume), linked in networking, offline referrals, etc. keep knocking. It's not an easy phase. And do plan for the next few months as well. Keep calm to rock it

It's difficult now but it'll pass. Like most other things in life. Keep your head up and Grind, even though it feels harder every day.

I have been unemployed from 1 year 2 months I previously worked for a product based company

Interviews are anyway 50% luck and 50% skill. Keep up the hard work, luck will fall in place.

keep applying and preparing buddy, we don't have any luxury of giving up, in the same boat as you are in, unemployed from more than a year, and don't know where to go, what to do with these much unfortunate emails.

First of all I want you to thank yourself for being such a strong and positive person for facing those rejections with courage and improving yourself for next. When i remembered my initial days when i was looking for a job i was totally disheartened after getting rejected from 100+ companies but i never take that rejection as i am not worth this just take it as a challenge that you didn't know something today and try to take feedback after every interview and improving my knowledge and skills and one day the magic happened and believe me i dont have to make much efforts just before the interview. More power to you and i hope you will also find your dream job one day!
