Career break

How is the 6-8 months career break seen by recruiters? I am exhausted and burnt out with currently juggling between work and health. I was hoping to take 6-8 months break and then resume work by applying for jobs. So was wondering how is the job market in India now? And will it be a wise decision to quit?

Take a sabbatical leave. Search it on Inside Amazon. Or, take a 2-3 week leave, travel somewhere, and then with a calm mind, think if you really need a 6-8 month career break. If yes, go for it. Read about sabbatical though. 😊

It's not wise, to be honest, to quit right now!! But again health is more important than anything in life.
So if you find hard take a break and save money for 1 year and more just in case.
