Career transition from IT to VLSI
Hi viners I have been working in IT for 2.9 years and my technology is mainframe, JCL, COBOL. I have been working on projects but not for a long run with 0 growth and hike, I am also under paid so I want to shift my domain where I can actually stand and my expertise is there. I have already prepared for GATE and also got NITs for mtech but not in vlsi branch, i am highly interested in hardware Engineering since my btech So can someone please suggest to me if I leave my current organisation and plan for mtech and then hardware jobs
PS: I have tried learning cloud, data ,SQL, python basics but it's really hard to change a project in my company, all they want me to stay in mainframe where I really don't get good projects to work on and have 0 growth
Kindly suggest, thank you in advance
If you have B.Tech in ECE tgen you can try in VLSI this is highly paid job, but limited job in the market. There are some course available in the market but that won't make you ready to go in core VLSI. Clear up fundamentals what you studied in Btech. Find out a friend working in Qualcomm, AMD, Synopsis, Broadcom, ST Microeconomics and do buddy up
