Should I move to US?

Hi, I am thinking to shift to US. Wanted to know if it is worth to go US leaving the parents in India. Also how much I will be able to save in next 15 years in US. Might come again to India. Profile: Age - 27 Designation - Product manager Exp - 2 years Also please tell what challenges one faces in US and whether I will be able to ask my parents to come to US once their retirement.

Hi Team, I have an admit from a Boston University for MS in US. The loan amount is coming around 80L including living expenses and tuition fees. I’ll have to take a loan to pursue education there. Is that worth it? The loan amount looks too high. What would be the time taken on an average to payback the loan? Is the ROI justified? Please help. Thanks.

Hello folks, So I got an offer from a US based product company for remote role for Product designer. This company just raised a seed funding. They don’t have any office in India but their tech team and some of the people from leadership team (CxOs) are from India. I’m confused whether to go with this offer or not. Reason: 1. Their interview process was too good to be true, it was very quick, no assignments given, they just saw the portfolio, ask some process related questions and then they agreed to give offer. 2. It’s a pure remote company with no plans to build office in India in coming future. 3. They have very small team, I’ll be working as 2nd designer only. 4. As per the current job market, I’m afraid about their future. YOE : 3yrs Hike that I’m getting is 50% Help a fellow UX designer decide whether to go with this or not.

Hi, I am currently working as an software developer (5+ years experience)with around 40LPA CTC. Most of the people in my circle have gone there 2-3 years back. Now I am having a fear of missing out, I applied for a few universities and I have got an admit in MS in CS. Is it worth it to migrate to another country and start again at this point of my career? What is your opinion on work in USA compared to India? Need some experienced folks with honest answers please.

Hey, I have 8 years of work ex and I work in the marketing domain. Last role was mid senior level. I have done my MBA from a good B School in India. I am not interested in settling abroad so have always avoided/ ignored outside opportunities. But lately I have been thinking of moving out for a few years for exposure . I am 30 years old. Suggest if that makes sense. And if yes, EU and south Asia ? USA is a no. Too far and doesnt make sense for marketing. I am very confused and want to decide soon. South Asia seems to have a good but very limited pool of companies and EU, am not aware about much. Any leads/ companies to check out would be appreciated too as I have just started job hunt.

The job market is fucked all around now, but assuming there will be interest rate cuts in 3-4 years (optimistic), how willing would companies in these countries be to sponsor someone from India? During the boom in 2021 a lot of people from my shitty tier 3 college managed to get sponsored at Big Tech in De, Ireland and Lu. What can I start doing now to increase my chances of finding a company that can sponsor me after I gain experience? Is it a pipe dream considering Indians are now flooding even these countries to get meaningless master degrees to immigrate (which I am somewhat open to too)? My ultimate goal is getting citizenship in one of these countries, preferably EU. I’m not really interested in central and Eastern European countries because I don’t align with their beliefs and their languages are too hard.
