Decision - PIP OR RESIGN?
Hey All,
I’m going to have meeting with HR regarding PIP next week. There I need to take decision whether I have to resign and take 4 months pay or whether I have to go with PIP plan and perform certain tasks for 2 months what they will decide and evaluate. I’m a bit confused what option should I need to opt. I’m looking for jobs but didn’t receive any calls till now but I’m actively applying.
From many people I’ve heard that in PIP they are giving hard to achieve tasks and pressurising to resign else if got fail in PIP, they will terminate and will give termination letter instead of relieving letter. What option should I opt , considering all the possibilities and current market situation?
P.S - I have 2 YOE in front end development
Suggestions from experience would be highly appreciated and can help me.
Are you in the project? Because this is happening with folks who are on the bench and the procedure is a little different than what you have mentioned because I know someone who has gone through a similar process a few months ago
Actually I got this NI rating in last year cycle without even telling me by my bench manager even though I have proofs to justify that I don’t deserve such rating. After that in Nov 23 I got into a critical project and worked really hard till march 24. Project was completed so downsizing happened and they released most of the team. When I released from the project I noticed that my profile is not getting shared anywhere, when I asked the same to my bench manager she told me that my profile is blocked. I need to talk to HR. Then I came to know they are planning PIP for me. Even though I had good feedback mail with me from my last project manager and everything but nothing happened. They blocked my profile from sharing and barred me from getting into any project and kept me on bench for no reason.
One of the main criteria for PIP is folks who are on the bench. If you want to discuss this matter further DM me.
