Do you really even need the basic skills anymore?

I've been noticing a bunch of designers moving over to no-code and AI tools, where you can pop out a whole website without typing any code. Super quick, I knocked out a responsive site in just a couple of days! But it makes me wonder, are we losing some of our core skills, like knowing HTML/CSS or really nailing responsive designs? Or is this just how things are going now, with tools that let us zero in on the creative side instead of coding? What's important going forward?
