Day 1 of misery

Stages of Life: 1. You’re at School and Grades are everything. 2. You get to college and your GPA is everything. 3. You get to your first job and your pay is everything. 4. You get to the end of the year and Performance Review is everything. So, essentially at every moment in your life, you’re judged by a number. My heart goes out to all those who failed at being better at this. But, I really cry for my brethren who succeeded at this hustle, for the person you’ve become. Drop your experiences down below. I’m just in a very mellow mood after work, contemplating about life’s weird quirks.

So I have made a similar post on grapevine before but doing it again because I have nothing else to do. Currently working in one of the big 4 passed out from a circuital branch in newer IIT. Have been dealing with anxiety since my jee preparation days . On meds since then . Fucked up my college life . Didn’t make any good friends . Didn’t study for placement as I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. Now working here feels like hell. Work starts at 11 and keep on going till 9 sometimes more than that . Thinking of doing a switch but fucked up interviews . Thought I should restart my life gave gre but didn’t get good marks . Feel like a failure . I cry a lot . Today thought I will do something productive but just kept crying . Called my father but he said why do I keep coming back to him with a sad face . Told him to fuck off and cut the call. Haven’t been to gym in a month cause my work doesn’t give time and I am too tired to wake up early . I am just reduced to my room sometimes I feel I should just jump from the balcony and end everything but I know I am coward cannot do that. Has anyone ever went through the same ? Will it get any better ? And yes I am taking therapy so no need to recommend that . Rant over 😞

Here’s what I have been feeling nowadays, I suffer alone every night, smile during the day & tell friends only half and parents nothing so they don't worry about them. I finally end up becoming a big ball of bottled up emotions. I was trying to talk to my colleagues about this and no one seems to care. All they care about is their own life and that is fair. Is life all about suffering and pain?

As the title says, feeling really devastated and less of hope for life. Feeling like I have been useless since all of time. And I can't say where I am wrong. I have learnt Java and Backend development Even learnt the knowledge of basic LLD too Leetcode is still regular Suggestions to apply on further job portals like Naukri, Instahyre, Wellfound etc I followed Current company where I'm interning has given the signs that I won't be given PPO most likely even though I was very productive. I have projects which have been remarked as good by others of different designations Resume is single column ATS friendly I come from a Tier 2 institute On campus is a dead ground now. Earlier it was GPA cuts, 12th board, gender cuts etc. For Off campus, which are very less to begin with, even after giving OAs completely, I'm still get ghosted. Talked with a few founders and connections, they are either looking for seniors, not freshers or just hiring interns. What should I do?

I have been unemployed for the past 6 months and have been rejected in a dozen of interviews. How can i get my confidence back?
