25 year olds not that happy with Vishwaguru
18 to 25-year-olds are not enjoying Amrit Kaal much. I thought that they were happy with pakoda economics and free ration.
I am not sure about the sanctity of the data but here's my theory:
1. People in 18-25 that truly care about politics are mostly left-leaning, Almost every liberal art school in the world(including India) is a hotspot for left leaning idealogy. "Smash X" is a common belief here.
X = Patriarchy/Capitalism/Meninism/etc.
2. Most productive members of the society who ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY, are economically right leaning and socially either left or right leaning.
3. In India, most people between the age of 18-25 are unemployed because most are university kids.
1. Not really. I'd say we can't say most. Most try to be centrist, but get influenced by the influencers around who try to shift them on Overton window
2. Partially agree. Yes, we do agree we need capitalism, but left leaning don't oppose capitalism. We oppose the idea of capitalists running the govt, it's policies etc. We are against crony capitalists. We believe people welfare to be more than corporate profits. If you see what has happened in Pakistan, where drinking water rights are sold to nestle who make water bottles via that and people get sick bcoz they can't even afford water bottles. We are strictly against that.
3. How's that relevant to who the people vote for?
Right wing isn't necessarily bad or left wing isn't necessarily good. If anyone who comes in power only thinks of welfare of people, I think everyone would be happy to vote them
Exactly, second every point. I am keen to know why the middle class is so heavily in favour of BJP when we are victims of heavy taxes with zitch in return. Are we just choosing the lesser of two evils?

Incompetent people become socialist because they know they can't earn - they want someone to give them khata khat, khata khat

Tomorrow seems scary. Based on recent Bigotry, I am genuinely scared
One thing you need to consider is the difference between having a political opinion and then being able to vote the same in an election.
A lot of people don't vote. Also, a lot of people do not truly understand what projects are being undertaken by the city or investments. All the idea they have will either be short-term revolutionary replacement or long term suboptimal activism.
Most of the students will be left leaning till 25, when they either will start earning well and shift towards either a stabilized centrist pov, or be an unemployable person who might jostle from a job to next based on their political opinions.
The opinion polls of youth being against a party or government will always be a talking points, but that's online polarization and hullabaloo.
I am failing to understand how are people till 25 by default left leaning? And then shift right to centre or more?
Unemployment has nothing to do with left leaning or right leaning
When you find all that is despair and rich people making money like theres no tomorrow ofc ppl will hate BJP. BJP harked about job creation but did it take any steps to do it ? 10 fucking years but not a significant sum spent in R&D . On top of that trampling checks and balances of the country.
Modi does one thing called fake pride which will ultimately never feed bellies !!!
Either he needs to provide jobs or inculcate the mindset of innovators in the country's youth !!!
Most young youth wants government to give more jobs but dont understand that in a capitalist society its not the job of government to be in business. So much young people are wasting their peak time preparing for upsc where there are hardly 1000 seats when they can continue contributing to the economy by joining private organisations and proving themselves

The current 18-25 year olds were in school when Congress used to rule. They don't know the fear of regular bomb blasts, they don't know the scams which used to run, they have just seen a stable India and now when they are eligible to vote, it's cool to be a rebel.
These kids did not see Congress Ghotala kaal, Danga kaal. So they are not enjoying as they were small kids enjoying school days at that time.
Like we all can’t feel pre-independence 1947 kaal problems and difficulties.
Aaj se hi cope and seethe start ho gaya. You’ll be doing it for 5 more years inshallah 🤲🤲
