How do you make time for exercise
I really hope to understand how most of you make time for exercise (if you do) after a whole day of work, with family, friends and other things to catch up on. I’m a couch potato and don’t eat that healthy - so happy to hear advice
I struggled with the same issue, so joined Cult fit. For me, the main issue was not time (as I spent a lot of time on social media) but lack of self motivation/discipline. Now once I register for a class on the app, I am forced to go, else I lose 1 day of membership 😅
I had the same issue and it was very easy for me to skip meals too. So, I joined Cult.
Just started with Yoga and Dance because I wanted to do SOMETHING. Morning classes worked best for me because I used to wake up at 8AM to start my day. I had to wake up 2 hours earlier and it honestly feels great!
I’ve permanently blocked 5:30PM to 7:30PM in my calendar for fitness even if I don’t have a class scheduled. I’m hoping I’ll be able to get folks to not reach out and schedule stuff during this time and eventually start evening classes too!
It needs to be part of the essential activities of the day, not an add on.
I workout 6x per week, it’s one of the non negotiable 1.5 hours of my day, and I plan my social life/free time around working out.
I generally do it in the morning. 2 hacks that work for me are that i take a shower before going to workout and ensure i do the bare minimum everyday. Even if it is one set of each exercise. Plus, having a set of dumbell at your residence always helps.
Do it in the morning. On workout days, I shower and get ready for work in the gym washroom.
