I disagree with 'Kannadigasm' being listed as a con. Cultural pride is a positive aspect that reflects the rich heritage of Karnataka. Non-Kannadigas should take responsibility for learning Kannada, especially since we are earning our livelihood here. Embracing the local language fosters mutual respect and better integration

Every region has its own unique culture, which is beautiful. However, regional dominance like this seems excessive. Why do these groups need a separate flag when we are all united under one—our Indian flag? Similarly, forcing non-Kannadigas to learn Kannada to live in Bengaluru seems unreasonable. Should I learn Telugu to live in Andhra or Marathi to work in Mumbai? Language is meant for communication, not division. Bengaluru thrives as a cultural hub because of contributions from everyone, not just Kannadigas. Mutual respect is key for harmony.

Correct. I have seen ppl coming from other states and making fun of state culture food habits. If you want to survive learn Bengali, kannada, telugu at sme extent so that you will understand the value

Bangalore has great community for individual interests. Depends what kind of interests you have.

Regionalism, and language chauvinism are most problematic, followed by law & order (incidences of troubles with local goons/cabs etc). I won’t mind cost factor if everything else is great, but that is hardly so.

there are more cases of north indians directly assaulting locals with news coverage than the other way around
