How to negotiate with manager to reduce Notice period

I have resigned recently and got an offer now but the company wants me to join in 30 days. How should I approach this conversation with my manager?

Can managers really help you reduce the notice period if they want to or not?

Yes they can definitely help you. If your manager is a reasonable person they will let you go if there isn’t a huge dependency

Regarding the new company you can tell them I can try to negotiate (you must have had a discussion regarding notice period what was the days you agreed on?)

In Infosys, the notice period is 90 days, in the new company, they agreed only for the 30 days time because they won't wait for 90 days

Congratulations 🎉. How much % hike you got and how much you demanded? For me other company was offering 15% that too daily wfo.

I demanded a 60% hike and I got 40% hike It is WFO but hundred times better than this shit hole

Worst case scenario your manager is an ass****. In that case you can pay your company for the notice period you don’t serve.
