Is frequent switching bad?

Hi Folks,

I work in product management and my YOE is 2 years 8 months. I come from a tier3 college and below is my carrier trajectory:

  1. Left first org after 1.5 years
  2. Thinking of leaving the second one after 1Y 2M

Reason for switching

  1. Good increment
  2. Current org’s work culture is laid back ( less work, everything is delayed)

Questions:

  1. What is the impact of frequent switching in long term
  2. Should I stay in my current org if they match the offer
  3. What if the other org also turns out to be average (it’s an early stage startup)

Some outright reject profiles based on the work history, assuming those candidates will hop away from their team/company too in short stint.

Otherwise, as long as you can crack interviews and get better job/salary/team go for it.

It depends. If yo have a valid explanation to why you didn't stay at a particular org for a while then you're good

Should I switch if I really like my current org?

I joined my current org right out of college and have been working here for 2+ years. I really like the company’s culture, openness while pay is also great as per my standards and needs.

I recently interviewed for a startup casually and...
