Leave job / stay put?

Been hearing a lot about the extremely bad job market. As someone who was looking out for their 1st job, I can confirm the same. However is it the same for senior and experienced folks as well?

All in all, what should someone do in this job market?

Bro, actually it doesn't depend on market, but ur skills, even if the market is worst, but u have experience with leading tools, company will hire u anytime.

My suggestion is if u feel u have talent and can prove it, then simply resign first because anyway u won't get interview if u mention notice period is 90 days.

In case u don't have skills, or r hesitate, just attend interviews for fun, get an ideas, start preparing, get a low increment job offer, put in resignation, then negotiate with other companies showing your recently got offer letter.

FYI - never feel guilty, these Indian HRs are thinking they are very Intelligent with their crappy education and degrees, and cook up such useless strategies, it takes seconds for us Engineers to counter to such strategies in minutes.

If you're working at porter i would recommend continuing there a few more years. It's on track to grow big and sustainably. Much more risk in other startups.

What's happening with the job market?

I see jobs being there, but even the entry level jobs are requiring experience. I saw a associate level job posting on linkedin for a startup asking for 4-6 years experience. This is in line with the recent article at The KEN.
