In my experience, most Indian companies, including Mindtree, have a strict policy about leaves during the notice period. Generally, any leave taken during NP is added back to the NP, effectively extending it. However, each case is unique and it's best to discuss your situation directly with HR. They are the final authority on these matters.

How many leaves do you get?

In my company we have 1 leave per month. Basically after working all January a leave will be credited in February just like our salary and we get 12 leaves per month only (PTOs). What is your leave structure.
