Hi, 2.5YOE - SDE My LWD is on May end but I cracked an offer (saying 2M NP) and got a DOJ in the 1st week of May. My current company is not ready to reduce the NP in any way. How to convince the new company to extend the joining date? Or how to go about it? Will it lead to an offer revoke?(I am unable to secure another offer too!) It's my first switch and please tell me ways to tackle this situation. Thanks a lot
They won't revoke your offer, just be genuine and explain the problem.

Don’t think too much buddy! Try talking out with the HR that client has requested 1 more month for support and company is asking me to stay back for 1 more month for a major deployment. I want to honour that request because I have high dependency for this piece of work. Therefore I request you to kindly consider delaying my joining date by 1 month. Also, apart from this way you can also state emergency medical reasons but that might fire back.
