People not quitting HCL

I have been in HCL for the past 2 years and already considering resignation. I have seen multiple emails from my current/past managers, who congratulate their employees for being part of HCL since last 5 or even 10 years. My question is, if HCL is as pathetic as people say, why don’t people quit sooner and look for better opportunities. Why stay so long in an organization that doesn’t even release compensation letters on time? Is this due to job security? Money? Comfort zone? What do you guys think.
