People of grapevine, do you hide your income from your immediate family and friends?

While many people judge you based on how much you earn, after a certain point jealousy and cunningness takes over.

People will tend to expect you to help them financially, and never return the money back thinking you got it in abundance.

it feels good to be able to help someone in need, but when people take it for granted you end up questioning your connection with them.

There are only two folks who knows how much I earn, the rest know some random number.

Sometimes I feel the burden that I am hiding things from people close to me. is it a common among other folks as well?
