Hey gviners, I've got a letter of intent from an MNC, and the HR is saying that I can resign from mycurrent org basis the Letter of Intent and that the offer letter might take some time to be released.
So should I resign or wait for the official offer letter?

Is it a good idea to resign and start serving notice if i am about to get an offer ? I mean, i already have one. I just haven't got the actual offer letter but the new company has started background check for which I have received the mail.
