There are many polls going on around the salary structure, whether a person is under-compensated or over-compensated. A few things which I have experienced regarding salary.

For same skills and same experience people with CS degrees are preferred compared to non CS BTech degree like. EE, Mech

I see a lot of people think here that a 3-5 year experience candidate has a right to demand 40-50 lakhs pay.

I'll keep it short. I'm 22 M. Joined a startup last year July as Intern (got paid 15K/m)
Got PPO, joined as FTE this June, 7.2 LPA (60k/m).
