Stupid Founders
I applied for a Chief of Staff role at a recently funded startup and the first question during the interview this particular founder asks me is that why have I applied for this role when I don't have any experience with these kinda roles and my current and previous roles were literally working in the Founder's Office.
No wonder startups don't sustain themselves in the long run.
Founder's office/= chief of staff
Every startup has different deliverables and responsibilities for the same roles/role names.
I guess you haven't interviewed much yet.
I'm sure you can be a great founder because your assumptions literally defy logic. I've enough work experience to comment on why the founder was absolutely wrong. This startup was in the SaaS space and so has been my experience for the past 5 odd years. Let's own up to our mistakes to co-exist peacefully
Devil lies in the details. Would have to compare their JD and deliverables with your resume to know exact differences in expectations.
I would give them benefit of doubt. It's not as big a deal either imo.
😂😂😂
Can you please share which startup or at least share hints
I’d love to figure out
