I'm not sure if this helps but I'm gonna share something I have realised recently. Before joining corporate my only idea of success was a great job and great money. Wearing fancy clothes, doing fancy job, earning great money and that's it. For every meeting I had to attend I had to miss a family function. The glam and shine of corporate became more and more dim. Soon i realised how INSIGNIFICANT most of our work is. Not just mine but for the majority of us. We probably have the same pressure as a doctor but the impact of our work doesn't even matter compared to theirs. It's a boon in disguise for me. What matters is how much time did you spend with your loved ones? Did you take care of your body? Did you tell your partner you love them? These things bring us to life.
We are foolish people driven by consumerism always working hard to buy the next best thing when in the end it won't even count.
Yes work is important and it has its place but with this hustle culture we have given WAY too much importance to "Designations".
