I’ve been residing in Bangalore since very long now, but feel bad that I still can’t communicate basic stuff in Kannada. I believe one should always try and learn the local language, makes life easier. Has anyone tried kannadagottilla.com ? Or any other free/paid sites or resources to learn Kannada?

Watch kannada movies. Preferably the ones that are from 70 to 90's. You can learn quicker
Easy after you make a friend who can help by conversing with you and giving feedback. Of course hard part was in the first line itself.
But hardest part is to keep talking even though you might be weird in grammar/accents and clueless about what was asked.
