I spend a sad amount of time mindlessly going through Instagram. Want to cut down, and replace with better apps, that actually make my time better spent. Curious which apps you all use that make you feel better after you use them?
Spending a lot of time on Grapevine now (grapes got me addicted) It is well until the addiction takes over,
Social media can never make you feel better, they are designed to lure you into unproductive expensive experiences
Deleted the app, now exclusively during meetings on desktop :p
They are designed to make you feel like shit. Quit it long time back and never been so happier and present. Just delete Instagram and see how your life changes.

Pinterest. Their search algorithm is amazing. UI is clean, great to create moodboards.
What do you usually go on Pinterest for?
As an idea box mostly. I create boards for projects be it work or personal. For eg, recently I was working on designing the checkout flow for a digital product. For visual design, I created a board and put in ideas that were unique in some ways. After about 10 pins, pinterest gets good at automatically suggesting similar ideas. So it evolves without me searching by myself.
On the personal front, recently redesigne the kitchen of my parents house. Had a particular design style in mind, so I collected photos pertaining to the materials to be used, the fit, finish, pattern of countertop etc. After this, all i had to do was share the board via whatsapp to the contractor. It gave him a holistic idea of our vision.
