Mpl company culture and growth
Hi guys, can someone help me understand how MPL company culture is? Should ondjoin I. Product role there?
How's the work culture at MPL? Is it a good company to join?
I would never consider a betting/casino company to be good in culture. As long as you need money and they are the only option, it's okay to work for them.
Have you ever heard of Dream 11? It's a company with excellent culture
Could be, but in general I wont assume it to be a good culture company.
Sharing here so it can help others in future. Know a lot of things about MPL. If you are not a friend of the CEO or a good friend of a very good friend of the CEO pls avoid.
-All meetings with founders are just fights, painful and contradicting directions and they just make sure they show off, look down at others
-After GST they have turned into a betting casino with games from gambling sites. Business wise they are doing well even generating profits they have a decent senior team.
-Problem is from what I hear 2-3 really senior leaders are leaving because of the crazy founders. Whoever has to work with founders directly and not their friends can’t survive more than a year
-Hire and fire is too much. 6 months they grow and hire and then fire at the first opportunity. Pay hike also linked to being friends with the right people else even if you are star performer nothing. Lot of attrition at lower levels because of all this.
-No value to exp at MPL because it’s treated as betting gambling. So no money no learning and no value to exp.
Current employees are all trying to get out of that toxic place so avoid MPL and you will thank me later
Avoid
Better to avoid at this time. Know quite a few folks who worked there for 0-3 years and none of them had a good experience - they either quit or were laid off last year. Some pointers that I can remember from my conversation with them:

Heard they first layoff, then do increment and take left over employees on international offsites.
Is the company surviving?
