There is Hyderabadi Hindi so Hindi is not of a big issue in the city

Hyderabad.

Bangalore is crumbling and it's just a pain to step out for anything. It's extremely dirty, full of potholes way worse than other cities, and overrated "startup culture". Go to hyd and live a slightly better life.

agree.. true 💯... too crowded.. and it has always seemed to me as an artificial city.... no taste.... the culture is limited to south Bangalore.. other parts is just like a hifi settlement not a city.

I have stayed in both Hyderabad and Bangalore but will prefer Hyderabad.

Barring the area near SEZ and IT parks, rents are less when compared to Bangalore for similar flats. My collegeues stay in prime areas and one guy is even paying 20k for 2 BHK. Electricity charges are less as well. Overall, expenses will be less in Hyderabad when compared to Bangalore unless you choose to go to expensive cafes and pubs in Jubilee/ Banjara Hills every weekend

Summers can be hot. But people who grew up in North Western India say that Hyderabad summers are still tolerable compared to their hometown.

There is Hyderabadi Hindi so the language politics is less.

Hi-tech City looks very well developed when compared to major areas of Bangalore. But overall Bangalore is way developed when compared to old Hyderabad.

Hyderabad doesn't provide you a weekend gateway like Bangalore (Nandi hills, Gokarna) etc. so it will be disadvantage for those who like to go out (I am an introvert and prefer my room).

Many companies are moving to Hyderabad although Bangalore still provide more options, Finance companies are less in Hyderabad but this is changing. GS opened it's branch in Hyderabad in 2021

Finally, all my school and college friends are in Bangalore, Hyderabad gave me an opportunity to interact with new people.

Happy to see many opting for HYD. They have decent infra and yes it’s time Bangalore moves away from holding majority of the tech and startup crowd. It has made owning a house difficult even for mid level employees.

I live in hyderabad. Number of opportunities will be less that is the only drawback else everything is good enough here. You can also speak Hindi with almost anyone( mentioning this coz some of the folks are facing rasicm based on language in banglore )
