For an SDE role, I saw 13500+ application in a few days. By the way, the count shown != total applied
Yes job market is shrinking each day with layoffs continuing to happen. These APM & PM jobs are in high demand because they look lucrative & sound quite good. But in reality, folks who work with PMs know there are quite a few who stand above the Bar. Rest all Positions are just Project & program managers turned into Product Managers.
Hello sir! Can u explain the difference b/w product managers, project managers & Program managers ?
Managers coordinate all the teams in tech, marketing, sales, operations, support and other teams. They make sure that the teams focus on the important goals, strategies, measurements, etc. so that there is QoQ improvement.
Project managers handle 1 or more projects.
Program managers handle entire programs, each of which can contain multiple projects.
Product managers handle entire products, which can contain multiple programs.

Well I would say that apart from this , the job description that has an easy apply option get more applications but if you will see "apply" option then many candidates will even not be willing to go to the site and follow all the steps to apply for the job , so out of 11000 applicants, i can say that only 5000-6000k authentic applicants are there

Out of 11000 authentic will be hardly 500-600.
Unfortunately, this is the reason there will be a gate for 1 -2 years experience.

I didn't get what you said, gate for 1-2 yrs means?
He meant the reason why few positions have requirement of 1-2yr experience so that number of applicants will be filtered out. And would be easy to avoid freshers.
Couple this with the Remote option. 5* or 6* more applicants for remote roles.
Getting interview calls is gonna be a lucky draw regardless how skilled you maybe
This is remote. That's why.
You won't find 11K applicants for in-office jobs.

Folks, the reason for this is the company is reposting the same job multiple times. So, if they already hired 1 from say, 100 who applied the first time; they will repost the same job after a year or so when they again have a requirement and so on. It isn't a duplicate job listing but the same one posted repeatedly 😅
This is the exact reason. They might have opened up the position let's say 6 months back but forgot to close it, but it's just that they've reposted it again and the existing count of applicants got increased.

If I need a one-man army for building a complex app/web-app, handling everything all by alone (akin to CTO and hand-on coding), how much experienced and what skills or what position should he be in what type of companies. Please help! (Not that he has to, but have enough capability to deliver. Are they SDE III, VP or ??? And what are red flags?)
Sde3 with working in start ups experience building products from scratch should be enough. But they would charge somewhere 1.5-3cr per year compensation and good upside(50% stock) minimum to even consider. Otherwise you are wasting their time
"Easy Apply" is another UX hack, that draw more applicants compare to any other modes!!
Looks like this job listing was ‘reposted’ 2 weeks ago. It might be that historical job listing which they keep turning on and off. So, this number could be the total number of applicants over the years.
Grapevine should really have an option to filter out some of the opinions presented in the comments through a customizable set of attributes.
