Wait what? Tell me more. What kind of sales and what kind of company man?
HR tech - joined early, helped build the product via customer feedback - opened up enterprise segment which led to high deal values

What industry / company are you a part of?
Also guessing that you have uncapped incentive and hence the crazy upside
Also would you recommend any book to beginners, i am shy, introvert and don't know a thing about sales.
Checkout Alex Hormozi's content. His books are largely about sales and business.

What kind of sales tools do you use ? How long did the sales cycle last ?
@DelightfulOx salesforce, outreach, gong, LI sales nav. deal cycle - 45 days to 3 months
Awesome dude! Proud of you
Would really love to know more on the sales front -
1. Did you pitch your sale based on cold leads provided to you by org? Or did you do something else?
2. How do you approach sales? Is it to gain trust of the customer first, say dinner with them, getting close to them etc and then try to sell it? Or is it purely approaching based on merit of the product based on your understanding of their difficulties?
3. Do you think you can get such sales or more this year as well?
@Legend_WaitFrIt_Dary
1. cold outbound 40%, inbound 50%, referrals and partnerships 10%
2. solution based approach. Drive a hard discovery process, identify and groom the champion, run multithreading in the org, leverage your sr mgmt. It's a 3 month deal cycle for enterprise, 40 days for mid-market.
3. HR tech is slowing down and companies have started consolidating. Betting on our product innovation to compete with current players and drive the same growth his year.
So you are saying 50% orgs approached you? That's quite high
Also, can you elaborate more on the sales approach? I am not a sales person, wouldn't follow your chain of thought easily

Are you a manager and your team sid 7cr or as a single AE sold 7cr worth? 13% overall commissions is very high but then again software has very high margins.
How old is the product?
@UnfitPanda2 IC. its not 13% but accelerator multiples kick in at 120%
