My bestfriend is going to the USA soon. Should I confess my feelings to her?

My bestfriend is going to the USA. She has gotten an admit to a very prestigious university for MS in CS. I have known her all my life and have had a crush for almost 15 years now. I never had the guts to say it to her because the timing was never convenient. We used to hangout together a lot. She was also in a relationship on and off with this guy. Maybe she did not see me as boyfriend material or I don't know. But I always wanted to be with her. I never looked at any other girl because I knew I liked her. So I waited and waited. Hoping that she would see me the way I saw her. She would love me the way I wanted to love her. But mard apni pasandeeda aurat ke lie kuch bhi kar sakta hai. So I decided not to confess my feelings to her. I did not want to jeopardise my friendship with her. But now that she is leaving for USA. I am scared we will not talk as much.
