Do you know anyone who got rejected in the HR round because of genuine HR/CultureFit related issues?

I've recently appeared for the Interview at Apple. Total 7 rounds and last round was with the HR. Till 6th round feedback was quite positive and in the 7th Round there was discussion that happened about Salary expectation. HR mentioned that she will check and get back with approved numbers and If I'm okay then they will proceed with releasing the offer letter. So I was expecting the same. But One week later HR called and rejected me saying that another Candidate is selected for this role. I was heartbroken and devastated. When I asked for the feedback, She said they cannot share the feedback it's just that they felt another candidate is better fit than me so they are going ahead with that candidate. On the very next day of my rejection call, they opened the Same position again in the Careers site. After 2 weeks again I called the same HR to understand If I could apply for the open position. She said that the Careers site it posted wrongly, the open position is not for my experience but it's for more experienced/senior Level. I could think that HR is not being transparent. This time again I asked for feedback, what went wrong or what could have been better, to which she replied that I was not clear on certain things and I was not transparent. Background is : After 6 rounds were done, HR called me suddenly one day and informed me that I cleared all the rounds and asked me for the expectation. I thanked her and asked about the Role (IC3 or IC4 or IC2) that I would likely get So that I can do some research and get back. She said she doesn't have clarity yet on the Role and mentioned mostly it would be IC3. So I asked her for some time to get back and 2 hours later I discussed my expectations. Then a week later, the Rejection call. Not sure what went wrong. In my most recent call she mentioned that for some simple questions like expectations I was not giving answers properly. It's been 3 weeks and I still could not come out of that rejection.

I've reached the culture round in the interview process. Does this mean I've cleared the technical rounds? Is there still a chance of being rejected even after receiving positive feedback on my design assignment?

Gave an interview for Product Ops at Cred. Didn't convert, but the overall experience was great: 1. HRs were empathetic and helpful - called after a week to give detailed feedback (covered what they liked, didn't like, what they were expecting) 2. Interviewer was also nice and keen to know more about my experience They were expecting a good understanding of growth and metrics, and I didn't have much experience with that, so I got rejected, but overall, it was an excellent experience. I have been putting all my recent bad interview experiences here, so why not also put a good one! :)

Need answer to just one thing. Do you guys intentionally ghost candidates or do you guys intentionally ghost candidates? 🙂

Hi all, How common is it to clear all interviews and still not get an offer? The recruiter confirmed I've cleared all interviews & asked for salary expectations etc. As next steps I've to wait for the hiring team to decide based on pay among candidates. Ive never had someone ask me details like notice period, current compensation documents post clearing interviews & still be unsure of offer. Can hiring managers please throw some light on this?

So recently I interviewed in many companies including google, Microsoft, Amazon I have seen common pattern that HR not being transparent with candidates. They keep hanging candidates in between and not reply to text, email, messages, calls. Even if candidate is rejected why can’t they email or call to give feedback. Is this job really hard ? “If I will get a chance to snap out one profession from earth I will snap out all hrs, recruiters out there.” Ps:- Google ppl was very transparent throughout process one of best experiences for me .

Why does HR ghosts? Is this being taught to them in HR courses? In a decent work setup a simple No or Yes either on mail or text would be ideal.

What can I expect in a cultural fit round? After two rounds of technical/case studies for an Analytics related role. There is a third cultural fit round prior to a HR round.

Are you open to hire someone if the candidate is rejected in final rounds in some other interview by a big company?
