I am serving my notice period it’s been more than 1 month my mother has an operation yesterday but my hr is saying you can not take leave since you are are serving your notice period. You have to inform week or two week before. How am I suppose to inform emergency early. Am I can no longer service my notice period also cause I have to take care of my mother. Hi Everyone, This post is about the Toxic Co-Founder of Quantiphi (Mr Toxic Asif Hassan).

Reasons:

1. Work-Culture has become Toxic, People in Project are working since 5 weekends without any single leave ( No Extra Pay/No Comp-offs/ No weekend Leaves) and that to 13-14hours a day Straight.

2. People in my project who have raised voices have been told (" You know what options you have and I have "). Indirectly saying if you revolt either i will fire you or you resign immediately.

3. People facing issues with Clients(Canda's BigTicket Insurance Firm) paying a huge amount for an un-realistic deadline project were told by Asif. If you have any problems that don't come to me, i want only solutions( He doesn't want to listen to Anyone).

4. People were forcefully told to come to the office ( Some people who had some genuine issues e.g. one of our colleagues recently got blessed with a baby) was told by Asif you are not the one caring for the baby, So you have to come.

5. All our advanced leaves are cancelled, People who are taking Sick leave are being told either bring your backup or work with your Illness, we don't care.

6. Issues raised with HR, HR says "We cant do anything".

7. In the last 7 days many senior people and colleagues were either Forcefully resigned / got Laid-Off.

8. The people suffering the most are the ones directly in touch with the client or the developers reason being Asif bashes Managers and Managers Bash us for No fault of ours because of the un-realistic deadlines set.

9. People revolting are put on the bench and are laid-off the next day without any reason. 

The Moral of the whole team is near to Zero and many of us are thinking to voluntarily Resign from this toxic workplace. 

Guys do suggest, should we call out these kinds of toxic Co-Founders and Companies or not. I need to help me reach this post to a wider audience.

Hello folks, with the exciting long weekend ahead, I hope you have all made plans for it. As a consultant, I'm always busy with clients, and the recent poor market conditions have increased the workload and pressure on my team. Consequently, I haven't taken any leave in the last six months. 
Now, I'm considering a trip to Rishikesh (as they say, Dilli wale either go to Rishikesh or Manali 😅). Can you please help me with a good excuse to request Monday's leave from my manager without much discussion? 
I'm open to any realistic, unrealistic, clever, or humorous suggestions.

 Just say you're going to be OOO on Monday. Don't feel guilty. You are owed leaves. You have earned leaves. And you should use it.

Heard from a friend that he flew out to his office in the middle of the night from his wedding because mortgage backed securities started to crumble in NA during ’07 crisis.

Initially he asked me to fill his water bottle, bring snacks for him. Dint mind doing 1-2 times. But it was continuous with other juniors too.  
  
 Took a chance one day to spit on his water bottle and brought snacks for the whole team (20 people, kurkure and frooti).  🫢

To me? "Congratulations! We are giving you a one-time cash bonus of 1L." This was for a deliverable I ideated and executed end to end.

Unfortunately, it was recognition too late because I was already planning to resign, which I did in the next week. 😂🤡

I joined a company after getting some bad performance comments from prev company. In my older the reason behind poor outcome was - manager. During my exit, he confessed the same that he wasn’t able to put required time/efforts. Most probably he was one who threw me in front of the bus.  
  
 Joining a new company with that baggage scares the shit out of anyone. I worked hard and delivered something big in first 6 months. The comment from VP levels was - “This is such a turnaround (of a prev lagging product)”. The mail was cascaded to CXOs and org re-initiated focus on the product.  
  
 That day, I gained my lost confidence and decided not to let anyone else control my career.

Some days ago my manager asked me not to get too involved in informal conversation with a female colleague. According to she, it can affect my appearance and hence my ratings :) 
The Nazi idiot missed part that Slavery is already abolished in our society and I am free to talk/flirt responsibly with whoever I like, as long as other person won’t mind in any space. 
Do you guys have this level experience with toxic/dumb managers ?
