Hello guys. I am a fitness and nutrition consultant who is currently employed in fitness first and might be leaving soon given the politics over there and being the only female coach. Is there anyone who has worked with freelance clients or has an idea where to get good freelance clients in gurgaon. I have even taken a few corporate wellness sessions for companies. Looking for some stability. Feel like there's something I am missing on, as I have been 5 years in this industry now. Please suggest

Speaking for men, I am not aware of women's pov on this. The agency culture makes you believe that it's fine if you don't have time and energy to focus on your fitness because most of your time and energy is spent on 'work'. 
I am not saying that work isn't important. Definitely, it is and you should be dedicated to it, but not by ignoring your fitness. You have to report at 10.30 - 11 am, but your work starts as soon as you wake up and you don't know when your day will end. This makes you tired and you're not left with time to focus on any kind of exercise or activity. 
You accept the fact that you're not able to workout because of work. Even if you speak up about this to your management, they won't entertain you. They don't realise how important exercise fitness is for you to function at your best potential. My boss in my previous agency, a PR strategist, always prioritised mental and physical fitness and spoke about it to us. He also told us that your brain goes in a good direction automatically when you feel good and alive in your body, when you look fit, feel fit and feel confident. 

I see a lot of men actually putting down others who talk about fitness and encourage good health. This is not about top physic or athlete like body. This is about having some sort of physical exertion as a part of your lifestyle. This will be beneficial for you as well as your employer.

I have been to foreign countries and the food tastes so different there. Even the quality of bread, fruits, fucking softest Croissant! 
   When I came back here, I started observing how companies fooled us. Is brown bread really only whole wheat? If yes, why is maida added? Why do we see food colors, stabilizers which are banned elsewhere, to be vibrant here?
   The best Food Safety administration I have seen Is of Europe. They even have a website which flags unsafe foods. They constantly strive to update values of harmful chemicals, ban them unapologetically! 
   Here we are, where, I hear about every contaminant from others. I hear about unsafe food in India from Foreign countries, youtube influencers and a liverDoc who published unsafe protein powder results. I thought it was the job of our agencies!

Call me biased, unaware, whatever, but, I am truly sorry to see how unsafe our food and drug standards are and the total disregard for our public health and awareness infrastructure!

The people I see running are people who are physiologically built for running, particularly the distance runners. Ditto for people who ride bicycles, swim, do cross fit, etc. The form of exercise invariably chooses the person rather than the other way around. Those who excel will generally be the ones whose physical make up “fits” the exercise best. It is not a matter of mental toughness or preparation or anything else: running likes runners, swimming likes swimmers, and strength training likes strong people.

What are some common fitness myths that people should stop believing?

Here’s some context. I have been hitting the gym on and off for like a year now. My body weight is 65kgs. I can bench press 60 kgs, can deadlift 120kgs. I can jog 5kms in roughly 30 mins. I am 21 years old. Though I know these are decent numbers from a health perspective, I feel inferior when looking at people lift significantly more on social media. I feel like my body is not at all in a good shape. I see people posting insane transformations in 3 or 6 months, and here I am stagnant with my progress inspite of hitting the gym for a year now. Do anyone of you guys feel the same way? On top of this, when I share my progress with friends who don’t know much about fitness, they ain’t impressed at all. They see influencers lifting insane numbers and consider that too be the norm. 
FYI I don’t take any supplements, hence hitting my protein target has been pretty much not possible most days.

1. In depth Medical study of female body. 
It is shocking how doctors treat women issues with a contraceptive pill (and it is just not in India). Not their fault, we don't have much data to refer to.

2. Shift focus on Male Contraception.
It makes more sense to remove bullets than move out people.

3. Inflation, poor life standards, lack of choices and pseudo feminists pushed women to earn a living.
While I 100% support financial independence, no one asked for support in household chores. Those are 24X7 jobs, and equally energy draining.
Yes, things are changing. Our generations' couples are well beyond but still needs fixing.

4. Make marriage & kids a choice and not norm or "next in plan" theory.
You want them? Cool!
You don't want them? Cool!

5. Talk about feminine health more.
Do not just write ass long LinkedIn posts dissing period leaves because you have fairly light ones. Also, periods are just one part. There are more steps and goes beyond reproductive age. Specific reasons why are mothers have suddenly been so cranky 

6. Schooling needs recentering.
You put kids in all-boys/girls schools to prevent "young distraction" and when they embrace non-binary relationships, you are upset over not following "culture".

7. Men & women CAN be friends.
Yes, there are higher chances of the relations going beyond or less, but not all opposite genders experience sexual tensions. This is why we aren't animals (most of us aren’t)
