Folks who exercise consistently, how do you motivate yourself to workout?
I am aware of the benefits of working out and I know I should. I typically just end up making excuses and workout out of laziness. Wondering if there's something that works for you guys?
Find a time that works for you. Most people think you should workout first thing in the morning, but that's not for everyone. A large part of the laziness is just getting out of bed.
Get an accountability buddy. That too works for some people.
Someone who works out with you. If you don't go, they don't get to exercise and vice versa. Nothing works better than guilt tripping.

Find the activity that you enjoy. It could be tennis, cycling, swimming, running, walking, dance.. anything. Fitness is not just going to the gym and pumping iron. Many people find weight training boring. Motivation stays for a few weeks but habits stay long
Yeah only challenge with a sport is, you're always dependant on having someone to play with
Or well, maybe I'm just making excuses again...
Exactly this!
Alone it sucked. Having a friend group around you that is open to play sports is the best thing ever.

At the very start - Mom or dad woke me and forced me to go
Now, I feel it's effective and go on my own

I exercise only 3 days per week. On alternate days. I do nothing on the days in between. Resting my body well works for me.
Are you trying to exercise everyday?
No didn't mean everyday but regularly is the aim. Although I'm not trying as hard anymore.
I guess just need to get over the bump and make it a habit

Picking an activity you love - 100%. Hate gyms, so picked boxing and love every bit of it.
It’s lot of endurance and agility that you improve, along with focus. That with learning how to punch someone without getting hit is fun
