Guide your Junior on Adulting
Guys please give me some tips to become fearless. I alway fear in every work. Whether it's joining new company,taking some tough work, doing something new, you name it and I always have fear. Fear of what will happen next,how will I manage that, is it even possible, what if they don't like me etc etc etc. I am currently in my early 20's and I don't want to spend my life fearing from everything. Please peeps guide me or give some mantras based on your life experiences how not to fear or how not to get that feeling.

Everything is important and nothing is important.
Fear is important. But so is the lack of it.
Acknowledge that it's normal to feel uncertain about the future. Focus on what you can control in the present moment.
Remember that everyone is figuring things out, even if they seem to have it together. Take small steps towards your goals and celebrate progress as hard as you can.

no, i’m dead serious. on the second note, being fearless doesn’t mean you’re strong and bold.
every person should have an apt amount of fear, and overcoming that fear “WHEN IN NEED” matters. me personally, at this point i don’t care about outcomes, i just do what i’ve to do, and face the results!

-Never mix personal with professional
-Never contribute in gossip
-Never cut ties with anyone, no matter how toxic they are, you never know when you might need them as it's a small world we live in. Offcourse, distance yourself from people who feel toxic for sure.
-Distance over disrespect. Sums it up.
-Start dating early. This way you have a headstart. Trust me. Its not a distraction if you know your priorities.
My mantra: I am not afraid of rejection, I am afraid of not trying.
If it is uncertainty of the future that is holding you back, then give yourself faith that you have the power to make and change your life.
For how to do it, you can ask yourself these questions:
1. What are you going to lose if you don't try because you fear rejection?
2. After 5, 10, 20 years from now, when you look back at this decision of yours, how are you going to feel about it? Are you going to regret not taking your chances?

Lots of good advice here already. However, I’d like to share a slightly different perspective.
Instead of trying to “overcome” fear, you might want to try learning from it.
Whenever you’re afraid of something, it’s often your subconscious mind looking out for potential threats and bad outcomes.
So it can help to acknowledge the fear, and meditating on what might be causing it.
Instead of trying to get rid of your fear through suppressing it or rewiring your brain, try to learn from the hints it might be giving you.
It’s easier said than done, but you can start small.
Take anything you’re afraid of, try to list down 5 reasons why it might be so, and put them to the test.
Now the outcomes might or might not be desirable. But along the way, you’ll learn to embrace your fears as a warning/guardrail system, and not as an impairment.
And if you just can’t figure it out, do remember that things always get easier with time.
Just try to recall the many times you thought you’d fail horribly or even die. Yet, here you are.
Still alive and past whatever had happened.
Given time, you can toughen up a fair bit.

What works for me is thinking from POV of what action i can take or what i could have taken and whats the intensity of situation in my life. Sometime fear is illusion where you cant do anything action wise but some kind of fear is there in mind.
Most of us are in constant fear and the best advice I can give is try to figure out what best you can do which is in your control and don't focus on the end result which is not in your control. Just give your 100%.

Concentrate on the task at hand. Change your attitude to work matters more than hierarchy. You are there not to please people but to work. And treat companies as replaceable, if they don’t give you what you want, someone else will. Concentrate on skill buildings and with time things will become more easier.
Few different thinking I have seen people follow
1. “I have not failed so far (even with the tough maths teachers in school) , chances of my failure are low as long as I give my 100%
2. Look back at your life (last 5 years) , what do you remember the most (most likely you will remember the success you had in certain things), what if you had not tried that thing at all (for example, because of fear of engineering study, you had decided to pursue a easier degree)
3. Think how you will feel in 5 years looking back if you did not take that leap of faith. Do you want to feel “what if” or you want to feel at least I tried (even if you fail)
4. To reduce anxiety , always have plan B. For example, an engineering student is gunning for FAANG, but in parallel he has a plan B ready. If I am not able to crack FAANG, I will join a startup, brush up my skills and try in 1-2 years for FAANG again.
I have 4 years of experience,2.5 yoe in machine learning.I am in the same boat.
I get scared when managers ask me for estimated time for R & D tasks.i am only confident,if it is the task that I have done before.
All of us are in the same boat when we try to explore the unknown.
You feel fear because you are not comfortable or in control of the situation. Always remember, you’ll never grow in comfort state. You have to step out and face your fears to grow. Whenever you fear, think of what worst could happen? And if that’s not happening then go for it. Don’t fear the situation or consequences.

My Friend I can suggest a few things to you I felt the same way what you have right now
Remember No one is perfect while they start the initial stage of life but we can be better by gradually Learning new things, personal growth, by focusing on mental peace, Skill yourself as much as possible *BE RESILIENT* If you fail means try once again Trying again for your growth gives you the success Fear is important Fear Gives you responsibility But don't focus on Fear Focus on responsibility
Don't worry you will reach the path what you what and what you need

Not being feared at anything is actually a mental health issue... If you are fearing something that really changes your life then it's absolutely ok. No need to worry 🤭.
Bro just be brave , don't take everything to mind ,be always positive,kill ur negative thoughts,trust in God ,play games in the evng for relief and it will increase the team bonding and fearlessness

Left my first job after two years. Didnt join another for 6 months just kept exploring ( went back to college for some project, prepped, applied for jobs) all on runway money which was very little.

Was that period very hard - absolutely yes runway money always kept on playing in background and it was shit scary
Did it make me brave - absolutely yes. Once you shed stuff, you become immune to fear of losing more stuff or thar stuff again.
Not an advice, just a personal anecdote. Use it as you may.
