How do you answer what’s your weakness in an interview?
Please help me; what is a good answer when the interviewer asks, “What is your weakness”? I know I have many weaknesses, it’s not like I don’t have any weaknesses, but I don’t know how to frame this answer in my favour. I have some important interviews coming up and I don’t want to mess them up.
Just like any other interview question, the questions related to strengths and weaknesses also have weight to the job interview. It is a common question that hiring managers ask to evaluate your capabilities to get work done. Every person has strengths and weaknesses. In a job setting, when you are asked about your strengths, it means the hiring manager simply wants to know your skills and how you can use them to complete your tasks. As for weaknesses, the manager would want to know what skills you lack so that you can improve them to work things out. Here’s how you can answer about your weaknesses:
Suppose you’re self-critical. So you can go on and say about this nature and how this can burn you out. Then answer what measures you can take to avoid being self-critical. Say that you would keep a note of your objectives, goals and results and when you achieve your milestones, you would keep time to celebrate them, hence, solving the burnout problem. With such measures, you can not only benefit the team but also prioritise your task and create a positive impact in the workforce.
