I will keep it short.

So I know this guy who goes to the same gym as me, 

The dude always looked kinda lonely so I would often greet him good morning or howdy,

However, I never got a chance to sit and talk to him as he always seemed in a rush,


Yesterday, I saw him talking to one of those  E-Girls on Instagram in the locker room, you know the ones which offer sexual video calls in exchange of a few thousand rupees,

I unintentionally read the chat while he was reaching out for his sipper,

And I saw "I dont want to have sex, I just want to talk to a real woman about my mental issues" something


While this sounded absurd and funny to me in the first moment of reading it, It left a resounding wave of abyss in me.
On how some people could be extremely lonely , and all they need is a hug !!!!

While his actions may not be the most mature of all, I do recognize this feeling.

Adulting: An Eye-Opening Experience

100% while I am a believer of being mentally strong. A recent incident also surprised me.  
 So this girl I matched on a dating app, was looking for a long term partner and was hoping for love marriage instead of arrange that her parents were doing. 
 We had been casually chatting but never even on a call. One day she asked me what I was doing the next day. I said i could open up my schedule for her. Then she asked let's meet tomorrow.  
 Then I got to know it was her birthday the next day and she had no one else to celebrate with so she was open to being with a random stranger. She used to live away from family all alone.  
 It felt so bad that the girl was feeling so down. So this changed a few thoughts about dating. Some people just want to talk freely and deeply. Wish the world could be a little more comfortable for such folks

Unintentionally, people were hurt, I didn't mean to hurt anyone, but to just share my learnings/experiences with everyone so it might help.

So, this weekend, I've come up with a better picture (& simple).

To men, hope this simple image is related, boosts your heart beat and make you blush/smile (share with us your memory)

To women, you just know how to charm your man (assuming the bigger percentage like to wear a saree)

Once in a while core-memory activity:

All Men: Ask your partner to wear a saree you'd like to see in today 
Extrovert Men: Ask your father/grandfather how your mother/grandmother looked the first time they saw
Introvert Men: Just look for parents wedding album and see how beautiful your mom is.
Single Men: Take learnings on how to drape a saree for the future (from where? youtube?) (don't cry that you're single)

Women: why don't you charm your man in surprise and have a date at home, maybe?
Single Women: charm the single boys or maybe your crush

Also all men: let's remember our crush in saree 😌

Also some genius women: please teach men how to drape a saree in the comments 






P.S: I will not stop sharing learnings/experiences, if that also means Adulting content, as well, but in better ways.

I'm a 28-year-old married (Wife is also working) individual currently residing in Kolkata, where the living expenses are relatively low. I have 5 years of work experience, and my current compensation package is 28 lakhs fixed and 3 lakhs variable (approximately 1.95 lakhs in-hand salary after deductions). With no liabilities or responsibilities, my monthly expenses are around 40,000 INR, and I manage to invest around 1.5 lakhs per month.

Currently, I enjoy a stable job and live with my parents, who take care of most of my living expenses. However, I'm considering the possibility of switching jobs and moving to another city, which would require me to bear the additional costs of rent, food, and other living expenses on my own.

Question: Given my current financial situation and the potential for increased living costs in a new city, should I explore a job switch and relocation? Or should I continue with my current stable job and living arrangement in Kolkata, where my expenses are minimal? What factors should I consider when making this decision?

Nah stay there only. Why relocate to Bangalore If you are earning a decent amount and living with your family happily.

Overall spending close to 16 hours daily on mobile/laptop/TV

Thinking of not using phone/laptop for an entire day except for making and receiving calls.

Definition of digital detox - A digital detox refers to a period of time when a person refrains from using tech devices such as smartphones, televisions, computers, tablets, and social media sites.

Digital detox : Do you do it? If yes how you do it?

In an online world, we may tend to forget not everyone likes to live online.

Don't text a caller, don't call a texter. And do neither with someone who prefers in-person communication. 

Applies to work as well as personal relationships equally. Try to determine what kind of communication the other person prefers.

From my experience, gen z and millennials mostly prefer texting. The rest prefer IRL communication.

Is your dating app match non responsive on text? Make plans to meet. 

Is your boss more of a talker IRL? Schedule in-person meetings.

Figure out their mode of communication and use that to your advantage. Don't ask others to adjust to your method of communication, they rarely will. 

If the person is important to you, make that extra effort. It'll be worth it :)
