In Deloitte appraisal evaluations happen in Feb-March. Then your hike will be announced in June 1st and you will get your increased salary from June. The bonus is also announced in June. But you will receive the bonus on September 30.

Is this for DI? Because that's not the case in DUSI

Hi All, 
I joined Deloitte in Nov,2023. During my joining i negotiated with the HR regarding the increment of my base pay as it was too less. HR gave me two options, 1. Either take a joining bonus of 50k with the same package, 2. Or be eligible for the next appraisal cycle i.e. april 2024. 

I wondered if my efforts in the project will be recognised or not by the end of april. So i choose to take the joining bonus with the same package. 

The HR has left the firm and i am not sure whom to ask and approach regarding the appraisal query. Will i still be ineligible for an appraisal of even 5-10% this year?

So I currently don’t have a job. I am interviewing at some places . 2 years exp data engineer.
1st company - 16 base
2nd company (a big American bank/fintech) - 17 base

Now the thing is I want to join 2nd obviously because brand but I think I am being low balled considering it is not the lowest position. It is just 1 above.

What should I do? I have accepted the offer because I really didn’t want to lose it and the HR didn’t agree to increase it even after speaking to her for long.

Am I being lowballed?

What’s the hiring timeframe for consultants in Deloitte?

I used to work in a early stage startup. Got selected from campus placement and they provided hefty fix pay(16 lpa) + 16 lpa ( spread across 4 years including esop and bonus) (totally fraud to come on day 0 in IIT). They now fired me. I interview at many startup and they are expecting too much from 6 months experience candidate. I am in between of offer from Deloite but they are only paying (11 lpa fix). What shall i do? According to market shall i take a downball or need to keep patience?

STARTUP:
- work culture is great. 
- work will be appreciated.
- very few people know about company 
- hybrid
- 15% maximum variable  ( depends on performance)
- team size is less around 2k
- A hike will be good
- service+ product based 

DELOITTE:
- work culture everyone knows is not good.
- work will not be appreciated as per the crowd.
- most of the people know about company 
- hybrid
- 10% maximum variable ( depends on performance)
- team size is around India's population 
- A hike will not be good.(Not sure)
- service based.

They both are offering the same CTC and I am having 2yoe. Please let me know what should i choose and why.
