Paid corporate awards at conferences - Hypocrisy

I thought this happens only in the film industry 😭😔😭

Yep, I get emails and messages telling me I've been nominated for awards or that I CAN nominate myself for awards with a "small service fee" or "participation fee" or "sponsorship fee" (you get the drift) I've never taken anyone up on this offer but almost inevitably I see many of my peers posting about receiving the award a few months down the line and I'm always like "👀👀👀"

All awards are paid.

Yes this happens all the time - if you sponsor as a vendor they give you 2 awards of your choice - you can give that to yourself or even nominate your clients to receive them. Don’t believe everything that happens on social media 😅

This is very old now, many fake influencers pay hefty fees to buy awards that too from well known celebrities actually it’s a investment for them later they use the videos and photos to promote themselves to generate leads in future
