So is product management really not a requirement alone as a role and people from different teams can take those responsibilities , although it happened but still you require someone as a 50% generalist and 50 specialist depending on the technology and product and if going by this logic then CEO is also doing a job which can taken by anyone and same as chief marketing officer and chief business officer also only CTO is something that makes sense

Waiting for the time when this CEO finds out that not everyone has management and leadership qualities. Also you would require to think through all the steps beforehand, have an understanding of how things are going to be done, and take the accountability. I am only touching up the surface, and I am not even a manager, just someone managing things and seeing the stark difference IRL in my colleagues and myself.

No idea , I just randomly found this post on reddit, it hurts because i am also keenly interested in product management not because of hefty pay (ofcourse it is though) but due to the fact that I have good analytical and ux design skills and the creativity and ardent to build something for customers out there from scratch

If you want a people manager who is also good at product translation and customer work, then you need one...unless the chindi ceo can do it himself and run the company then ok, engineers will do it from their perspective and message up the roadmap and the sleepy Engineering manager will do jack
