Privacy hacks
What are some good hacks / ideas to protect data privacy for a normal user?
I know you prolly mean it as a joke prolly - but I want to clarify. We certainly can’t see which number ties to which profile on Grapevine. We will never sell anyone’s data or make poor use of anything we have :)
We are privacy obsessed peeps just like y’all
Btw why is phone number necessary? Do you guys store the number in your Db?

The tools you'll need depend on your threat model - do you work with sensitive data? Are you okay with the govt being able to trace your searches? Do you find certain threats unacceptable no matter how unlikely it is? How much trouble are you willing to go through to try and mitigate them ie would you give up on all Google apps?
privacyguides.org has a great guide to figure out your needs and a resource list of tools. Some starting steps would be
- switch to Firefox browser (and use their Containers feature)
- DuckDuckGo instead of Google for generic searches
- uBlock Origin on phone & PC to block ads & trackers
