Ready to Monetize my skills.! I'm exploring the world of Paid Interviews- Grapevine

I was recently impacted by layoff and having 20yrs of exp into application support and service management with last 10yrs grown into a middle management role(limited tech hands-on and no dev experience nor CS background)

While I am financially ok atm and can manage staying at home for next 12-24 months, I am not financially independent yet. its getting too boring and I want to get back into some sort of work routine as I am keen on retirement yet.

Challenges I am seeing with finding a new opportunity:

- The job market seems to be quite restricted for senior roles with that experience
- Few that came across were at a substantial low salary.  
- Some others required significant hands-on experience 

Thought process::

- While salary is not a major concern, I am not sure if I makes sense to take a pay cut.
- Given the speed of tech changes, not sure what kind of learning/certification would be helpful
- Even if I do tech self-learning, lack of practical hands-on seems to be a drawback
- At 40+ while I am open to work hard and learn, i view is to find a job and learn into it , rather than other wat round

Any guidance/pointers would be appreciated. As would any leads/introductions on suitable opportunities you know of.

Initially, this is how it will work:

A gap that I've come to notice recently in academic and market research -

There are a lot of independent research surveys and forms floating around but they mostly fail to get a lot of respondents even in specialised communities and groups because of survey fatigue.

People aren't sure if the data is being used for a good purpose or it's just another database creation exercise by commercial entities looking to profit from it.

If the survey respondents could be monetarily compensated, that might help. Not sure if anyone would help fund such surveys though, unless they are granted access to the research or can be benefited from it in some way.

Is it possible to bridge such gaps and accelerate surveys and research projects?

So I have been unemployed for ~2 months now and wanting to do something on my own that is fun, fulfilling and has a scope for monetization

I realised during my job hunt that most recruiters (3P) are clueless about the hiring requirements of the job and usually cold call/ randomly generate leads through basic LinkedIn search. Most of the folks eventually don't hear from them later because they profile didn't fit the need( obviously!)

While not doubting their skills, I realised head hunting could be much more targeted through better classification of JDs and candidates and recruiters could save time both for them and candidates through better screening while improving conversions...

I'm planning to build a marketplace of sorts aimed at matching jr to mid level tech talent  with JDs( you know how generic and open ended they can be!)
I want to start this entire service as free for the current yr at least given the job scenario and later monetize through recruiters and TAs

I have mostly figured out most of the workflows and can get the MVP ready in a couple of days worth of dev work but what I'm skeptical is whether candidates might feel data security as an issue( something that leads to a shrinking candidate pool to pick from)

Most of the people just keep adding so many irrelevant pictures to their posts!! I mean what do they get out of it. If it’s anything to do with regards to the picture, I understand. Other than that, it has become a trend to add photos to the posts. They say they will have greater reach and greater views. It’s so annoying. I don’t understand the difference between Instagram and LinkedIn. Most of the time I feel Instagram is better than LinkedIn. All these so called entrepreneurs have also started doing this shit and feels 😖😣

Hola folks! Received a call from Probo for one of their openings in Datamuni (I know! that's what the vertical is called). When I researched about the company, their app/web platform on opinion trading (via options) - online reviews of the users are mostly bad with users unable to claim back their winnings & algo seemingly going against the users, etc.

Wanted to know from folks if it's even worth giving my interview time? 

Why I was considering is that it's just a series A and profitable, backed by sequoia, so reward ratio of ESOPs would be high (I understand that even sequoia cannot pick all profitable ventures and some may go bust)

Hello,
Wanna be influencer bhaiya / didi here . I lack actual skills to do my day job , hence , wanted to get to TopMate to monetise the useless skills that I have. 

I already have created a decent profile at TopMate. My credentials are worthy enough as well ( bas bhagwaan ki kripa hain , mujhe kuch nhi aata ) . 

Now , to get the bookings , I will have to advertise myself publicly. But , I am shy enough to do it on LinkedIn / Twitter / Reddit . One of the reasons is , people might find me desperate to earn some quick bucks ( which actually I am ) . Also , personally , I find those TopMate posts cringe. 

Any suggestions on what approach I should take ? Publicly posting is the last option I would want , but open to all suggestions.
